delivery

 

When an order has been placed, we will contact you within 24 hours to arrange for a pickup time at our studio in St Ives NSW.

Alternatively, we can recommend the use of a trusted courier. (at the cost of the customer).  We will contact them and make a booking for pick up at our end. At that point, your details will be passed on so the delivery driver can make contact with you at a later date to arrange a suitable delivery date with you.

We advise a usual delivery time of one week, however, this can vary a little and can sometimes take longer depending on your location.

 

returns

 

We offer the option to return your item for a full refund within 14 days, however, please note that any delivery costs incurred including return delivery will not be refunded, also consider the item will need to be sent back with the original courier in the original packaging and inspected for any damage before a refund can be issued.

In the unlikely event that an item is delivered damaged, make sure to contact us within 24 hours. Where possible please inspect your item whilst the courier is there to check for any issues. Depending on the scale of damage, we will work with you to come to an agreement on repair or return.

 

aftercare

We use a variety of different finishes in our work, to keep your piece looking great, please read the following advice where necessary.

To maintain a wax finish

Chalk Paint Wax is water repellent so is suitable to be used on all indoor surfaces, however, it is not recommended for areas with a lot of water or for outdoor use. 

For pieces finished with Annie Sloan wax, we recommend cleaning with mild soapy water and a damp soft cloth. 

For any other finishes, there is no aftercare needed

We may ask you to provide personal information when using this website, for example, private details such as your address, however, please be assured that this information will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

shed eleven may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page every so often to ensure that you are happy with any changes made.

What we collect from you

We may collect the following information:

  • Contact information such as email address and telephone number (for product deliveries)
  • Postal address (for product deliveries)

It is our priority to ensure that your personal information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required to do so by law. 

 

 

payments

All items purchased in our online shop must be paid for in full before delivery.

Delivery is sadly not free of charge, the fee is to be agreed upon beforehand and can vary due to location. 

Commissions are secured upfront with a 50% deposit. Once work has begun, any changes to paint colours and/or overall design are subject to an additional fee.

The deposit can be paid in the form of cash, credit card or bank transfer. Balance of payment is due upon completion of work. Furniture will not be released until the balance is paid in full.

Regrettably, deposits for commission work are non-refundable.

Full payment of a delivered commission is non-refundable.

 

 

second hand

It is really important to appreciate that most of the pieces we choose to work on are secondhand and have had a previous life. Whilst this means plenty of character and all-around fabulousness, with it, may also come minor imperfections relative to the age of the piece.  Therefore please expect some signs of general wear. That being said we make every effort to produce a high-quality professional finish and any out of the ordinary issues will be alluded to in the item description so please read with care. 

All of our finishes are hand-painted professionally but please bear in mind this is very different to a factory finished, mass-produced product. We create unique and non-generic pieces.

 

 

commissions

Once we have been in contact with the client, exchanged photographs, determined a plan and agreed in detail on a project, a quote will be sent to the client to review and sign.

photography

We have taken care to produce and edit accurate photographs on the site, however, occasionally actual paint colours may differ from photographs.
