Bumble Hill photo shoot

30th May 2021 – Bumble Hill photo shoot

Our little caravans first outing!

We wanted some gorgeous pics of our mobile shop for our launch, and couldn’t think of anywhere more picturesque than our friend’s property up at Bumble Hill.

Owned by the lovely Sue and Murray, it’s a real destination venue, perfect for small events and location shoots.  With a couple of tasteful, atmospheric buildings available for hire, and breathtaking sweeping views of valley and ocean, we’ll be making it a regular venue for workshops.  Best yet it’s only 45 minutes up the coast from our Turramurra studio door!  Can’t wait until they get their boutique accommodations built, although they might find they won’t be able to get rid of us!

Our photographer was the talented Claire from Oak Street Images http://www.oakstreetimages.com.au/ on the NSW Central Coast.  She was so easy to work with, and made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera (such patience with our last-minute outfit changes!), and gave us incredibly helpful feedback and gentle instructions.  Her passion and care really shone through.  Thank you, Claire, the images are stunning!

The highlight of our day would have to have been working with the gorgeous Silvana from @embelish_or_perish!   Check out her account if you’re after some serious colour inspiration.  Silvana brings her love of colour into all aspects of her life, and couldn’t have been a more fitting model for us.    Gracious, adventurous, and utterly beautiful to watch wandering around the property, she brought life and fun to our images.  Lovely to meet you Silvana, and hope we keep in touch!

We had a seriously lovely day, and it was such a fitting location and crew for our special event!

Welcome to shed eleven

We’re a creative collaboration between sisters-in-law Jemma Wlasichuk and Fanny Clarsen.

shed eleven transforms and up-cycles furniture that would otherwise be overlooked or destined for landfill.

Our business educates and encourages you to do this yourself via our workshops, selling the eco-friendly Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® and spreading the message on furniture repurposing and upcycling.

From our workshop on Sydney’s upper north shore, we’ve restored hundreds of pieces during our two years in business. Our artistic and technical skills led to us being invited to be the Annie Sloan Painters in Residence in 2018.
